The large 24” rear wheels have a quick release button so you can take them off to expose and use the 8” rear wheels.You will never need to take off the smaller 8” wheels. The dual brake system gives you a set of locking brakes to use in transport chair mode and another set to use if in wheelchair mode.This chair is built with a lightweight aluminum frame that is durable and weighs only 34 lbs. as a wheelchair, and a very manageable 24 lbs. as a transport chair.
