This chair can be used as standard self-propelled wheelchair or a transport chair all in one. The quick release wheels allow ease of conversion between quick release 24" and 8" rear wheels. The dual brakes makes use as both a standard and transport chair easy.
The chair comes with an lightweight aluminum frame that only weighs 38 lbs. with 24" wheels and only 24 lbs. with 8" wheels! Chair comes standard with Desk Length, Removable Arms, swingaway footrests with composite footplates and heel loops and nylon upholstery.
The Polywog can be used as a manual wheelchair or a transport chair.
Quick wheel release allows you to remove 24” rear wheel with the push of a button.
Desk length armrests are shorter arms that would make it easier to slide up to a table to eat or a desk to work.
Swing away footrests are standard with most wheelchairs. They are removable with a quick release lever, and can swing to the left or right to make it easier to stand back up.
Removable armrests have a quick release leaver on the front and back of the arms to pull the arms off for easy side transfers. This is a big help in getting to the car, toilet, or even the bed.
