Selecting the Correct Cushion

 

Selecting the Correct Cushion for your wheelchair or any other seat or chair is easy.  Please read this quick guide or give us a call at 888-570-8836 for tips on selecting the correct one.

 

Simply take a measurement of the seat you want your cushion for.  Measure the Width and the Depth:

 

Width will be a measurement from the left side to the right side of the seat.

Depth will be a measurement from the front to the back of the seat.

 

Any cushion that matches for Width and Depth will fit your seat perfectly.  It is ok for your cushion to be one inch less than the Width of your seat, but try not to go one inch over or you may end up with an uncomfortable lump in the middle.

 

The cushion thickness is your choice.  Please keep in mind most of our customers that are not ordering a molded cushion find that a 3” thickness is very comfortable.  A 4” thickness in many cases is almost like a booster seat.  We usually do not recommend the 4” unless you are looking for a boost.

We are proud of our Improvelife.com collection and want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return the merchandise within 30 days of receipt. We will honor all damaged and incorrect orders at Improvelife.com expense. To qualify for a return please see the following:

1.    Items should be unused and in original packaging.   Drive brand products must be unopened and in the original packaging.

2.    A refund of the price of the item and any applicable taxes will be issued in the original form of payment used to purchase the item. Please note that this also applies to items received as gifts. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive a refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase.

3.    All credits will be given after receipt of merchandise with warehouse inspection approval.

4.    Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the item is being returned because it is damaged or defective.

5.    Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

6. You may use the shipping carrier most convenient for you.

7.  Use a secure shipping method to send the item so that it can be tracked. For example, if you are sending it through the United States Postal Service, please send it via certified mail. We are not responsible for items lost during shipping, and cannot process your return until the item is received.

 

Restocking Fees:  A 10% restocking fee applies to the following groups of products unless the item is being returned because order was damaged during delivery or incorrect: Electric Scooters, Power Wheelchairs, and Wheelchair Cushions. Please see the specific product page for exact policy.

 

No Returns: We will not accept returns on the following group of products: Bath Safety, Incontinence items, Hospital Beds, Ultra Lightweight Wheelchairs, Custom Products, Open Products. Please see the specific product page for exact policy.

 

To return a product, the above conditions must be met. In addition, we require that all returns follow these instructions for proper processing:

Instructions:

1.    Contact customer care by calling 888-570-8836 or e-mail customercare@improvelife.com to request a Return Authorization Number (RA).  Items received without an RA will not be credited.

2.    Warehouse must receive items within 15 days of an RA# being issued.

3.    Contact customer care with tracking number.

4.  Items sent to our office will not be refunded.  The item will be returned to you.

Cancellation: If you decide to cancel your order after it has shipped the above return policy applies.
