The Removable Armrest Transport Chair makes side transfers easy. Taking off the arms with the quick release is easy to do plus it will give you the ability to simply slide to a toilet, car seat, bed, or other seat. The armrests are padded for additional comfort and have side panels that will help protect your clothes especially when rainy or muddy. The footrests are removable, the chair will fold in half, and the backrest will fold down for easy storage and transport.
A standard seat size on a transport chair is 19”. We also have chairs available in smaller or larger sizes. If you are unsure of the size you need you can measure across the lap of the person that will be in the chair. Make sure to measure the widest part of the lap to insure a comfortable fit. Transport chairs are ideal for travel purposes because of their lightweight and compact folding design. Unlike a manual wheelchair a transport chair will require someone to push the user.
